Agris Dzilna

Born in 1963. Professional training: Rezekne applied arts school (1978-1982), Design Department of the Latvian Academy of Arts (1985-1990). Contributor to exhibitions since 1986. A member of the Latvian Designers' Society since 1997. He has personal exhibitions to his credit in Latvia (1995,1996,1998, 1999) and in Lubeck, Germany (1997). A regularly participant of group exhibitions in Riga, Latvia.

His works are to be found in the collections of the Latvian Art Foundation and Ministry of Culture of Latvia, as well as with private collectors in Latvia, Finland, Sweden, and Great Britain.

A participant of the "Aiolos" European art symposium in Greece (1995),
1st European Championship of Fire Sculpture (Stockholm, Sweden, 1998),
2:nd European firesculpture symposium (Lulea, Sweden, 2000),
International contest of fire sculpture (Ischgl, Austria, 2001).

A 1996 grant holder of Buddenbrockhaus in Hansetown Lubeck.
He also took part in "Interdesign 99, Seoul" (South Korea, 1999).

Currently working as designer in network LATNET and LATNET Art Gallery curator.
